Wholehearted Devotion
1 Chronicles 29:19
And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion to keep your commands, requirements and decrees and to do everything to build the palatial structure for which I have provided."
Three verses in a row on hearts. David's prayer continues.
Just a thought, maybe that is why David is the man after God's heart. Maybe he had unique understanding of the heart's importance.
I like that David prayed that Solomon would build the Temple--the palatial structure for which David had provided. But first he prayed for Solomon's heart.
