Bloody Hearts
Genesis 34:3His heart was drawn to Dinah daughter of Jacob, and he loved the girl and spoke tenderly to her.

These verses, prologue to a bloody episode, feature the heart as the seat of the affections, passions, and emotions. There are different ways to look at the events.
